Microneedle Pills for Biologic Drug Delivery

Inspired by the leopard tortoise, this pill self-orients in the stomach after ingestion and inserts active pharmaceutical ingredients into the tissue lining, enabling the oral delivery of biologic drugs like mRNA and insulin.

Ingestible and Wearable Electronic Therapeutics

This pill can selectively stimulate certain tissues within the gastrointestinal tract, potentially enabling the treatment of gastroparesis and other disorders associated with the gut-brain axis.
